Our mission is born from a deep devotion to honor, uplift, and stand beside those impacted by breast cancer. Founded by Janell Vera of First Roots Farm and Whitney Hill of Whitney Nicole Photography, this project is rooted in compassion, connection, and the unwavering belief in the strength of community.

Through honest storytelling, heartfelt imagery, and the healing beauty of flowers, we create a space where journeys are celebrated, voices are heard, and hope takes root. Every story shared becomes a light — inspiring strength, offering comfort, and reminding others they are never walking this path alone.

The Breast Cancer Chronicles is more than a photoshoot — it’s a place where stories are shared, hope is cultivated, and a community grows stronger together. Created for survivors, fighters, and loved ones, this experience offers a welcoming space for connection, reflection, and celebration, where every journey is embraced and every voice is valued.

Each session invites participants to share a part of their story — through words, reflections, or simply by being present. These moments come together like a vibrant bouquet, creating a beautiful and collective tribute to strength, courage, and community.

With flowers in hand and stories captured through photography, we lift one another up, celebrate the journeys that shape us, and remind everyone that together, we are never alone.
